As of today, my little Faye is 3years 7 months ols. She has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few months, mentally and physically. She can now more or less hold a conversation with you, and these conversations usually gets me and my hubby smiling or laughing, cos her reactions or responses are usually quite out-of-the-blue, authentic and unexpected and damn cute. And she is now in her "What are you doing?" or "where are we now?" stage. And in her eyes (ours too of course), she's the Princess Faye Faye. Sometimes when she's in her "I want...(something)...mode", my hub and I would answer or tease her "Yes, Boss", she would answer back "I m not the boss, I am Princess Faye Faye". It's so funny..
And she loves to sing and dance,. Mostly sing. She can pick up notes and rhythms quite quickly. And then she would be singing it for the next few days. Her current favourites are songs from Kelly Clarkson, Bon Jovi, koko Daniel, Footloose and the most most recent one is the new commercial song from our local singer Shila for TM Connect.
I m very proud to say that she also loves to read. Not exactly like real reading yet, but she loves to pick up her children books, or sometimes my own books or magazines, and she would flip thru and look at pictures, and ask me "What's this Mommy? What's happening here?". I have been exposing her to books since she was a little baby, either reading to her, or just surrounding her with it (in her playroom or the bedroom) and I am glad that it is paying off somehow.
She's not afraid of people and she can just go up to a little boy or gal, and try to say something or hold their hands. And she would go "This is my friend". And that little boy or gal would usually just stare back at her and probably think who is this crazy weird little gal. A few would run to their parents. LOL...
I send my Princess to Tumble Tots every Sunday for a 1 1/2 session of interativity and fun learning. She loves it. We reckoned that's where she has her friends, she can sing, dance, and do creative artwork, and just tumble around. Because of this, we are really looking forward to her starting her Kindy sessions next year.
But of course, knowing the procastinators parents she has, we have not really decided which Kindy we will send her to....and it's already mid-Nov. Tsh tsk tsk bad mommy daddy...But we will, soon. No worries, cos there are tons of Kindies in Subang area...we hope.
It's a real blessing to see her everyday, in her antics. Sometimes in her tantrums where she would say "Throw this..throw that" or "Throw Mommy" "Throw Daddy", but most of the time it's the cutesy and adorableness of my Princess that wins me over.
It's been a challenge for me, esp lately, where it's been at times long hours at work, along with the stress and yet I have to handle my role as a Mommy. But so far, i have been able to handle, to the best capability that I can. My hubby too...These past few years have been a whole new journey for both of us. But with Princess Faye aka Boss with us, we wouldn't have it any other way (other than lesser stress and hours at work would be far better....hmmm..)
With much love and kisses and hugz to my little Princess Faye....
