My 9 to 5 and abit later...

My birthday came and went last Saturday. I m so totally 39 years old, and feeling good about it. Took Friday off, and took a short weekend trip to Pangkor Island Resort. Will write about the trip a little later.
But before I left for my leave on Friday, my dearest team gave me a surprise birthday present. They came over to my place and gave me a Moleskin Notebook. Lovely!!! I love the Moleskin..it's the best notebook on Planet Earth. The paper quality is damn superbly smooth, and the ink will just glide on effortlessly. (check out www.moleskin.com) I loved it...THANK YOU gals!!

And this is the picture of my team mates from the office. I am totally blessed to be in their space. They are a bunch of great people, with so different personalities to learn and grow with...
There is from left:-
Linda - the new addition to the family. Don't really know her indepth yet, but she has showed signs of strength and reliability. And she has this Japanese cuteness about her, from the way she talks, to the clothes she wears...
Me - me, myself and I....
Zazza - the wild child of the family. Always have her own agenda, which is usually most of the time completely opposite to the team's direction. So, most of the time, I call her Miss Sotong. She's still finding her calling in life, which I m sure she will pretty soon. And when she does, I know she will shine and make great results from them.
Shoniya - the Miss Pretty. Always the most well dressed, always prim and proper. The youngest in the whole team. But though she's that, don't let her age and looks fool you - she's a little cili padi in the making. She's a tough cookie and completely full of potential.
Lee - ahhh....what can I say about this awesome lady. She's the power and strength of the team. She's the roots that bind all of us together. Yes, she at times has her personal mental demons to fight, but most of time, she gets over them and is driven by her commitment to the people around her. I m totally honoured to have her in my space. Thanks so much for teaching me about commitment and unconditional love, my GS MM.

So, that's my team in my humble office.

Hello there....I am here!!!

I have been convoluted to start my own personal blog for the longest time. Mainly because I could not find an angle or a strong reason on why I should start one and why should I maintain one. And also do i have the time in the world? What do I write on? My family? my hubby? My little gal? My work? My day-to-day life? My passion (which at this point of time other than my family is zilch)? The environment? Politics (which i don't really care shit)? Technology (huh?) Fashion (lagi huh??) WHAT?

Until one day sometime last week, I found out that a friend of mine passed away. To leukaemia, diagnosed in April 09. It was so sudden. She was not like a close friend or anything like that, but we did crossed path and worked together about 2 years back during TM days. And she was a vivacious, bubbly and passionate woman. Full of life and strong headed. So, when i heard about her demise, I felt very saddened at such a huge loss to this space that i lived in. It was so sudden as if a precious life was taken away just like that.
Anyways, to bring the whole thing together, I thought of her as an inspiration to this precious world that we lived in. And then.....I started thinking of "hey....why don't I write my own personal blog based on whatever that inspires me (or not)?" It could be anything...surely life is about inspirations and aspirations. For myself, my loved ones and everyone and everything else.

So....there.....welcome to my blog...my blog that I have decided to name "Moonstruck Mum" because I m a Moon (Yuet in chinese...grin) and i m moonstrucked by life. And I am a mum to a beautiful little gal. Whom I hope one day she will read thru my writings and thots and know what inspired her mom.

So, here's to you Ozlin Ozair...here's for inspiring me to start my blog. May you rest in peace my dear friend.
